An Oklahoma abortion provider who helped cover up the deadly murder of an abortion doctor in an operation that was never properly documented will face charges in federal court, prosecutors said on Wednesday.
A federal judge in Tulsa issued the indictment in the case of Dr. James E. Bostic, who was shot dead at his home in 2014 after refusing to perform an abortion.
A U.N. committee has said the U.R.T. procedure was never performed.
It is the second time a U.K. doctor has been charged with murder and another abortion provider has been arrested in connection with the murder.
The U.L.A. trial is scheduled to begin June 15.
